Why me?
Very early in my acupuncture career, I treated countless women who I felt were being ignored or poorly treated by Western medicine. I became incensed seeing those trying and failing to get pregnant have to wait for even basic investigations, and then entering a “one size fits all” system which was punishing and often ineffective. Broken women would come to my clinic, having been told they were a failure, encouraged to just keep trying after each miscarriage, and then, it seemed, blamed for their age, their weight, their… It made me sad and angry.
And I knew it didn’t have to be this way – even with my standard acupuncture training, I was seeing great results. And so, over 15 years ago, I embarked on my specialism in fertility acupuncture and then expanded to gynaecological issues, all of which I’m as passionate about today as I was then.
I regularly train with the very best in this field in the UK and internationally – in advanced fertility acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine (using highly effective protocols from the US), and functional medicine testing and inventions.
